Jamnagar is given a name, called “Chhoti Kashi”, where the most beautiful temple "Shri Bala Hanuman " is located. It is the world famous temple and has acheived name in Guinness Book of world records for continous 24-hours chanting of the "Ram Naam", since August 1, 1964.
The chanting of Akhand Ram Naam was started by late Saint Shri Prembhikshuji Maharaj, who was the greate devotee of Hanumanji. The pleasing Jaap "!! Shri Ram Jai Ram Jai Jai Ram !!" is chanted 24 Hours a day.
This temple is located in front of Ranmal Lake where thousand of devotees of all religion and from any corner of world comes to worship lord Ram, Sita, Lakshman and his ideal devotee Hanuamn who always uttered the name of Shri Ram.
This temple feels pride to get the name in Guniess Book of Records twice, during the year 1982 and then after 1988. Here the mightiness of Lord is such that in the calamities like earthquake, cyclone and bombarding from neighbouring country did not stur the heart of the temple.
